ORS Building Consultants engaged us to produce high-quality CGIs to support a planning application for the refurbishment and extension of an industrial building. The visuals enabled the team to review the proposal before submission and clearly communicate to planners the intended design, materials, massing, and overall aesthetic. We supplied baseline site photography and before-and-after photomontages illustrating the completed scheme.
Scope/Brief
Our client requested three photomontage views of the proposed building, both to assess its appearance in context and to accompany the planning application for clarity with the planning authority.

Our Approach
We visited the site to capture a series of photographs, recording full camera metadata and the exact shooting locations. We then sent these to the client to choose preferred images and viewpoints. Following approval, we modelled the proposed building in 3D, applied materials and finishes, matched the photographs’ lighting and perspective, and composited the model into the selected images.
Result
We delivered three photomontage views covering the key elevations of the proposed building, giving the client and planners a clear, realistic preview of the finished outcome. These assets supported decision-making and allowed the client to refine the design with confidence.
